Firstly, there is no difference in terms of the written paper which will appear in the proceedings, i.e. PDF format, number of pages, etc. ‘Regular’ papers are presented in a 12min pre-recorded video (5min for ‘flash’ papers) available on-demand to all paid attendees one week prior to the conference, i.e. from Sep-13, 2021. During the actual workshop event starting Sep-20, 2021, all ‘regular’ papers will be sequentially discussed in plenum in live Q&A sessions. On Sep 21-22, ‘flash papers’ will be discussed inside live virtual author interview rooms (one room per ‘flash’ paper). 20 rooms (corresponding to 20 flash papers) will be open simultaneously, and the attendee can at-will enter any room to take part in the author interviewing. Max 100 persons can enter one room at a time, and max 12 people can have their webcam turned on. If a room is full, then you can try another room and return later to converse (via chat or webcam) with the author.
